"MANIFESTO" DETROIT PISTONS
Igor and I got to direct and shoot this campaign for a couple of years. This was the first spot. We had a blast doing it. It won a bunch of creative awards but also won the NBA’s best marketing award as well.
"HIGH POINT 10-70-9" TRAILER
The High Point Police department and community tried a new and radical approach to the problem of domestic violence. It worked! here is part of their story.
"SITDOWN" PRESTONE"
Prestone came to me with problem. They had five different color jugs for all kinds of cars. Solution. Make ONE formula and put it in the BIG YELLOW JUG! We shot it like the sitdown scene of the GODFATHER. It totally changed the business. (For the better.) And won us a bunch of awards. Great direction from the amazing Steve Chase and edited by the equally amazing Igor Kovalik.
"Cal Ripken" CoCa Cola
I got a call on a Sunday night. Coke was in trouble. McCann NY called in teams from all over the country to pitch something/anything. On the cab ride from LaGuardia I was reading the NY Post. Cal Ripken had hit a homer in his last Allstar Game. Hmmmmm. What would it be like to be Cal on his very last day? Brilliantly directed by James Gartner on location at Camden Yards. By the way they only charged us $1 for the location fee!
"TigerTrap" BUICK
The spot that made its way around the world. It actually did break the internet. It became a model for many imitations. We snuck the most popular athlete/person in the world at the height of his powers and filmed the entire thing. It won a bunch of awards and was written about in the NYT, WSJ and I even made it onto ESPN! Golf Channel interviewed me as well on a BTS special. This was as fun as it gets. When I first pitched the idea it was shot down. I persisted for 2 years. Thank you Jill!
Great direction from the amazing Steve Chase and edited by the equally amazing Igor Kovalik.

"SNOWFLAKE" BUICK
My partner and I had a meeting with the car designers and engineers from Buick. They told us about this feature. While walking out of the meeting I said to my partner in the voice of Bullwinkle Moose: “Consider the Snowflake” He looked at me and said. “I’ve got this” I would pitch he would hit them out!
"TREE HOUSE" SKIPPY
“SPREAD THE FUN” I wrote the tag line for Skippy which they have used in one form or another ever since. This was a ton of fun to write and then shoot. Simple idea and the performance were all just great.
Heartbeat Buick
I wrote and directed this spot. I had heard Curtis Strange talk about Tiger’s heart beat on an ABC broadcast and boom! There’s where the insight came from.
Troubador Bumble Bee
This is a complete nuthouse spot. I was so happy they let us do it. We cast a really talented singer from LA and dressed him up like Bobby Sherman. (you will have to look that reference up.)
Tiger Olympics
When Tiger was in his prime golf was not in the Olympics. I thought what would it be liked if the most popular athlete in the world crashed the Olympics! Tiger had a blast seriously trying to compete on set with the olympians we had cast. I think it comes through in the film.
